Maryam’s point of view:
“Guys I don’t know what to wear!” I panicked. “Help!”
“Why not something casual” hind replied.
“Casual? Are you serious?” I glared at her.
“How about that black dress you got awhile ago? You never
wore it” lulu pointed at the closet.
“Which one exactly?” I bit my bottom lip.
“Ooh I remember it! It would be perfect!” Fara7 said
excitedly, clapping her hands in a very quick motion while jumping slightly in
the air.
“I’m still lost” hind stared back at fara7.
“Wait is it the long sleeved one?”
“YES!” lulu jumped on the bed.
“Ok I’ll try it on first”
I wore it and went back to them, matching it with high black Alexander McQueen heels. I walked back to them and stood in front of the mirror. They
all gasped.
“What is it bad?” I hide my face with my light brown wavy
hair.
“It’s..” Hind stopped.
“Gorgeous” both fara7 and lulu said at the same time.
“Really?” I looked back to the mirror and the dress hugged
my curves perfectly making them a little edgy. It was just a little over the
knees and both sleeves were long. It had slight pulls on the side, making the
fabric overlap just a little. It was simple yet beautiful.
“Are you seriously asking?” hind crossed her arms against
her chest and glared at me.
“Ok ok sorry just don’t look at me that way” I hide my face
and giggled.
“I’m doing your hair” fara7 jumped to my right side.
“And I’m doing your makeup!” lulu jumped to my left side.
“And I’ll just watch you guys do all that while I eat ice-cream” hind grinned.
After fara7 pulling my hair all over the place, hind
smearing makeup all over my face and hind eating her third carton of ice-cream
they were finally done.
“You look beautiful” fara7 said as she smiled proudly at the hair
do she made. It was perfectly waved to the right side, retro-style and my
makeup was simple yet amazing with simple smokey eyes and winged liner and
mac’s Dubonnet maroon lipstick.
“Be careful ok? If anything happens your calling us
immediately! Got it?” lulu strictly said.
“Inshallah 3amity” I giggled, I loved it how she was the
mother-like person in our group.
“hanoda you know what to do right?”
“Distract the brother and the entire family” she nodded as
she grinned devilishly.
“We’ll you do a great job as distracting the brother” I
winked at her and she immediately threw a pillow at me.
“HEYY I don’t want my hard work to go to waste!” lulu
hurried to me checking if my makeup got ruined.
“we’re discussing this some other time” fara7 threw the
pillow back at hind.
“There’s nothing to discuss” she rolled her eyes.
“when I come back we’ll talk about this”
“E9eer 5air” she glued her face back to her phone as a
distraction.
“Where are you guys sleeping tonight?”
“Here”
“We don’t want to miss out on this!”
“Yup were here to know about everything” fara7 said rubbing
both hands together like the evil person in a cartoon movie would.
“a7m! A girl needs her privacy” I crossed my arms.
“Not when you have friends like us” Hind said with a puppy
dog face.
“You’re last to talk. By the way what time is it?”
“Its 7:50” fara7 casually said.
“OH MY GOD!” I started panicking knowing he’ll be here any
minute now.
“Breathe it’ll go smoothly don’t worry!”
I peeked out of the window and spotted his black Maserati.
“he’s already here” I squealed.
“It’ll be alright just wait a little! He said he’d text you
right?” lulu tried to calm me down as she lightly caressed my back.
“Then why hasn’t he texted me yet if he’s already outside?”
I asked dumbfounded.
“Because he’s nervous too you idiot” hind blurted out as she
laughed hard.
“That’s so adorable” fara7 aw’ed. My face flushed into a
shade of pink.
Lulu laughed “I shouldn’t have put any blusher for you! I
bet your cheeks will become much more red than they are now”
“Natural blusher” hind laughed harder and winked once more
which only made me blush harder.
“He texted” I jumped up and down for several times.
“Did he say he’s here?” hind’s eyes grew wider.
“YES” I put my hands in front of my face.
“CUTE” fara7 exclaimed.
We all jolted down the deck of stairs, I was holding my Yves
Saint Laurent hot pink clutch and my Alexander Mcqueen heels in my other hand.
“Don’t forget to tell us everything” fara7 said excitedly.
“No its don’t forget to have fun and tell us everything”
hind corrected with a wink.
“Take care of yourself 7bebti and don’t forget you have
three psychos here waiting incase he breaks your heart” lulu winked.
“Group hug before I leave”
“BYE” they all yelled out as I was walking out the door.
‘Let the night begin’ I whispered to myself as I saw his car
door swing open and my heart skipping a beat. “Hi” he smirked while opening the
passenger door for me. I awkwardly smiled because at that moment I felt like my
cheeks were about to burst from how red they have turned.
The ride was awkward at first, I was nervous and I bet it
showed as I felt Goosebumps rise from the top of my head to the tip of my toes.
“How are you?” he broke the ice, thank god!
“I’m good, you?” I awkwardly replied back staring at my lap
while playing with my rings.
“I’m feeling great since I saw you, you’re looking beautiful
today” he started stuttering “not that you don’t look beautiful everyday, I
just mean..” he looked so adorable being frustrated with his words.
I put my hand on his lips, “Thank you” I murmured then
realized the stupid reaction I had and immediately pulled my hand away and
looked out of the window feeling like my cheeks turned a 100 degrees warmer.
“You know I don’t mind your hands staying there to shut me
up, If I knew you were going to react that way I would’ve talked and talked
like that ages ago” he smirked still having his eyes on the road. I didn’t know
what to say, my cheeks just kept heating up by the second so I just bit my
lower lip to keep myself from embarrassing myself any further.
He opened the radio and the song “stereo hearts” by Adam
Levine was on and I without noticing I started slightly swaying my head left
and right to the beat.
“Oh so you like the song” he side smirked as he raised his
left eyebrow. I froze, so did my heart.
“Emhm” I mumbled as my cheeks reddened.
“My heart’s a stereo it beats for you so listen close,
hear my thoughts in every no-o-o-te. Make me your radio, turn me up when you
feel low. This melody was meant for you, just sing along to my stereo” he
started singing loudly and laughing in between, banging on the steering wheel
with the beat, which caused me to laughing so hard, I couldn’t catch my breath.
“Allah ly7rmni mnn hal ‘6a7ka” he flashed my his million
dollar smile.
“So how long until we get there?” I ignored his remark as
I was blushing enough.
“y3ni ma3ajbich w’63na hni?” he furrowed his eyebrows at
me.
“laaa2 its not like that, its just” I bit my lower lip
again not knowing what to say.
“Never and I repeat again never do that again”
“Do what” my eyes grew wider out of shock.
“That" he pointed at my lips.
“um ok”
“Don’t get me wrong, it just gives me thoughts of things I
shouldn’t be thinking about basically” he smirked.
“How far away did you say we were?” I gripped onto my
clutch trying not to bite my lower lip out of embarrassment.
He chuckles “we’re like 5 minutes away”
“Good” I grinned.
“someone seems to be hungry” he chuckled some more.
“Am not!”
“We’ll youll have to be since they have something you
love” he smiled, I melted.
“Wait how do you even know what I like to eat?” I raised
my right eyebrow.
“it’s a secret” he whispered back and laughed.
“La la jad shdarak? A9lan shno ihwa hal shai?”
“Lobster” he side stopped at the red light and stared back
at me.
“Wait what? No really how did you know that!”
“Hind” he chuckled.
I lightly punched his arm “You’re evil, pure evil” I
crossed my arms.
“Well I’m handsome too” he smiled widely allowing his
perfect pearly teeth to show.
“Egotistic much?”
“Yes” he grinned even more widely while squinting his eyes
now.
“just keep your eyes on the road” I puffed. “And to think
he knew my favorite food by himself” I whispered to myself and puffed again.
“I did know it, I just used hind to not scare you away” he
chuckled.
“We’ll its working so spill, how do you really
know?”
“Your memory as a kid is really bad isn't it?” he
chuckled.
I bit the insides of my cheeks “Yes”.
“3boud and I once took you for lobster cuz you were
craving it, your dad came along too” he smiled lightly.
“That explains it but I didn’t expect you to remember for
this long!” I kept playing with my rings.
“I never forget" he gave me an intense look in the eye for a few seconds "we’re here”
“Finally!”
“Ouch” he held his chest.
“Ops” just as I was about to open the door.. “Laaa2
ltft7een!” I looked at him, puzzled. He got out and rushed to my side and
opened the door for me.
“After you gorgeous” he murmured softly and my heart
skipped a beat, correction, beats.
