Dreaming Wildly: Chapter 10

Hello Beautiful readers, I'm so terribly sorry for taking so long to post but please understand where I'm coming from. This is my senior year and i already started working on my transcripts for university, it is very hard work and time consuming but I'm deeply sorry. This chapter isn't very long but i promise i'll try my best to post in a day or two! Its been a week since I last saw him. Weirdly It felt different, bad different. I was used to waking up every morning knowing i'll see him and hear his unfunny jokes that try to cheer me up and walking to uni with him. Now Its been almost an entire 168 hours without seeing or talking to him. What has this guy done to me, I’m doing math. I cursed myself under my breathe not realizing it was a little too loud.

“Shfeech mimi?” 3boud held onto my arm.

“La2 wla shai just thinking” I smiled trying to assure him I was fine. He just nodded and turned to continue his conversation with fahad, something to do with football.

I kept checking my phone, hoping to get a message but really, I knew I was going to get nothing after what I said. I was too harsh. After the incident I started the usual over thinking which made me realize what I said was wrong and crossing the line. He’s not a brother or a husband so it was non of my business but my tongue slipped.

“Black coffee for the gorgeous Maryam” hind smiled as she handed me my drink and broke my thoughts that were starting to run loose.

“Thank you 7bebti” I smiled back weakly, she knows how down I’ve been feeling and she’s been more than amazing at being there for me.

“how about we go to uni? Its been ages since I’ve last been there and I’ve been out of the hospital for 2 days now!” she said eager, pushing the strands of her light brown silky hair behind her ears. “Please” she fluttered her big eyes at me.

“You’ll have to take permission from the boss”

“what boss” she looked at me, confused.

“Me” 3bood turned to face her.

“w ana 6oufa jdamik” fahad raised his eye brow.

“I’m the eldest in the group so I take care of all of you *smirk*”

“Point made” fahad smiled against his will when he was trying to act serious, him and 3bood were more than brothers so he didn't mind,

“Can I please go 3bdulla” she pleaded.

“Yes but never and I repeat never call me 3bdulla! It’s annoying *looks around like he’s looking for the right words * And too formal” he continued.

“Yay” hind squealed with joy “lets go get the two other freaks”.

“chnich faroo7! laa2 they said something about going shopping”

“then we’ll get them when they finish and all of us can have dinner together”

“Dinner it is then”

We got up after sipping the last of our delicious coffees and we were good to go. I grabbed my baby pink Prada bag along with my Mui Mui shades, kissed 3boud on the cheek for a goodbye and headed to out of the cafe to look for a taxi. Even though the weather was starting to get slightly windy which was amazing, we couldn’t walk all the way to the university since hind removed her cast 4 days ago and so her leg still hurt her when she walked for a while.

Standing there tapping my feet hind and I waited for a taxi. I turn my head to the left and saw two kids holding balloons. They looked adorable and kids their age were my weak point. I kneeled down and asked for their names.

“Hello there, what are your names?” I was beyond the AWW moment now it was carry them and run away. I stared back at their bright blue eyes.

“James” “Jane” they both said back clutching onto their balloons and pulling them down as if an attempt of hiding behind them. I stood straight and went through my purse and got out two Chupa Chups Lollipops. What can I say I need my sweets?

They smiled widely and they both gave me a peck on the cheek. Their mother soon caught up, worried about them since they have been wandering around without her noticing so she thanked me for holding them. I turned to hind and she didn’t even notice the kids, she was too engrossed typing on her Iphone.

“You idiot! You missed the cutest kids on this planet!”

“hmmm” she replied without any focus since she was still staring at her phone typing.

“Leave the phone I’m sure its not important”

“It is, I’m asking if Doctor Michaels is available tomorrow” she said sternly which scared me, making me shut up.

“Oh right you have to go each week like we promised!”

“Yeah to do some check ups on how my body is healing and all that nonsense I don’t feel the need of doing”

“Its good for you! Stop being so stubborn! You know..” just as I was about to continue the taxi’s door was pushed right open and he came out. Wearing his ray bans and black leather jacket but that was not it. Just as I was about to turn my head to the other way, m7ammed runs to the other side of the car and opens the door for a beautiful girl. Her pixie hair cut outlined her face perfectly, with her naturally plumped lips that were smeared with red lipstick and her cat-eye makeup that showed off her long thick lashes. He held onto her hand helping her get out with his wide million-dollar smile drawn onto his perfectly shaped lips.

My head went into a thunderstorm of thoughts crashing down. All I did was walk. I didn’t know where to, but I just walked, I walked like there was no tomorrow. I heard hind’s faint calls but I ran. Leaving the world behind I started sprinting to god knows where.
