Its been a few hours since I’ve been here, waiting. Its now 11 at night and I’m still sitting on the chair by his bed. 3boud and I had a slight hassle, arguing about why I’m here and he started his interrogations. It really wasn’t the time for it. After an hour of convincing that he was there for me when hind was in a coma, he said yes, of course after hind working her magic on him.

Aisha fell asleep on the couch and hind went to get me some clothes. I felt drained, my face were pale like all the color was sucked out of me and my eyes were puffy and had red streaks running through it because of all the crying. I regret not texting him, calling him or the least I could’ve done was listen to his side of the story.

Aisha didn’t have much to say, she was beyond exhausted from all the tears too. Every time she wanted to speak she would choke back on her tears and we’d end up crying together, clutching onto one another for security. I’ve just met her today and I feel so close to her, what happened to Mohammed has got me closed to her. I just hope he wakes up, the doctor said he needs to rest and that he’ll wake up super soon, hopefully.

I drag my chair closer to his bed, lay my head gently on the tip of his bed and intertwine my hands with his. My tears start rolling down my cheeks all over again.

                                                                     

“7mood if you can hear my please just press on my hand” I whispered as I breathed out. Just as my tears were about to cause a flood to the hospital I feel him lightly pressing on my hand, gripping onto it.

I jump out my place and call out for 3asha immediately. “3WOOSH! He pressed he actually pressed” tears kept rolling down my cheeks, now they were tears of joy. I try to free my hand to go to the doctor and call him but m7ammed pulled off his oxygen support and whispered “You’re not going anywhere” and he gripped onto my hands with all the energy he had left which wasn’t much.

“Hey Hey I’m here!” I quickly put back the oxygen support because he was turning paler, which I thought was impossible.

3asha sprung off the couch, jumped on mo7ammed and started kissing his cheeks continuously, it was cute since she was his sister but I started feeling weird, something I haven’t felt in so long that I actually forgot hot it felt, jealousy. Like fire was rising within me and my blood started boiling, like the time I first saw him with her.

“7mood I’ll call 3boud ok?” I smiled to him and tried getting up. He pulled me to his bed. This guy was resting because of a cardiac arrest and he still has this much strength, all I can say is mashallah because it was scary how strong he was.

He removed the oxygen again and hissed “Laa2, 3wosh get me some water please” he coughed and it freaked me out so I ran out to get water, catching him off guard so he wasn’t able to hold me quick.

I ran back with the water after calling the nurse to inform the doctor but the doctor was in the OR preforming surgery.

I hurry back with the water and barge into the room. I pushed the door to hard which made it slam against the wall making a loud ‘BANG’. I stood in my place feeling slightly embarrassed and I looked down to my feet. Then I realized the water. “Ohh il maay” I rush to his side, he was already back to himself, he was chuckling and 3asha was laughing at my stupidity, she did try to hold back her laugh but she couldn’t hold it in.

“Lhal draja 5ayfa 3lai?”

“Just drink * pushes the glass towards his face *” my cheeks felt hot, the room itself felt hot. It scared me how he could flip my mood like that, like it was a light switch, just one press and the room would light up.

Hind’s point of view:

3bdulla and I were still in the living room, alone. Neither of us could sleep that night out of worry. It was very awkward at first. Sara slept over at her friends house again and my parents were out of the city for some meeting my dad had.

We were both silent for a while, a long while actually until he broke the silence.

“Hanoda?” he called out softly.

“hmm?” I looked back at him.

“you want to go out to eat? I’m sure you’re starving and well my stomach is screaming for food” He chuckled.

“Sure but what restaurant will be open now?”

“Il7ub” he winked. I just gave him a questioning glare. “McDonald’s!” his eyes glowed at the mention of McDonald’s, it was too funny I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Ok yala I’ll just grab my coat l2na bard br3” he nodded and I got my satin peplum black long coat.

We started walking since there was one close by and we wanted to smell some fresh air and enjoy the weather for a little. The walk was also very silent but I liked it, having him as company was enough. I shivered when wind blew through us. He immediately put his hand around my neck and rubbed my arm trying to provide me with some warmth. My entire body felt like it was shock with lightning; Goosebumps rose through every inch of my body and my cheeks turned into unusual shades of red.

“labsa jacket w b3d brdana!” he chuckled and side hugged me tightly. I just giggled lightly as my heart fluttered with happiness. His embrace made me feel at peace and it made me forget everything in this world. We got in and I didn’t want him to let go, he did but then intertwined his fingers with mine. My cheeks were R E D and nothing will cool them down now they’re too hot. He just looked at me and smirked, God that smirk kills me every time.

“Shtbeen a6lb lch?” I was staring at his hazel eyes, just melting and daydreaming. “Hanoda?” he waved his hands in my face as he chuckled.

“hmm oh sorry, mc chicken please”

“Spicy? Wla 3adi?”

“La 3adii”

“Ok, one normal mc chicken and two spicy mc chicken please”

“two? Mashallah ana wa7d w ma5al9a” I giggled.

“it’s the krsha ybi yakl” he laughed, his laugh. Enough said.

“Ay krsha” I laughed, “you’ve got a six pack w tgool krsha?” how did that slip out now! He’ll think I stare at him 24/7! Which I do! But he cant know! I covered my mouth immediately, mentally.

“How do you know that?” he smirked.

I stuttered not knowing what to make up now, “What oh yeah mimi showed me a picture of when you guys went to the umm” I didn’t know what to say, my tongue tied into notes and they were very tight.

“Thailand” he helped me out, but his smirk never left and I think he winked which made me swallow the lump of humiliation stuck in my throat.

“Yeah that” I awkwardly giggled to cover it all up and inside all I though was ‘Hind You stupid stupid idiot cant you just keep that mouth of yours shut for once why did you do that? Why? Now he’ll think you’re some kid stalking his every detail! Stupid just stupid hind had to talk!’

“Tra 3adi shfeech don’t stress it” he smiled which made my the train of thoughts in my head have a huge break before crashing. He kept staring back into my eyes, we were having the moment again, noo, its just my mind playing tricks on me!

“Ma’am, sir, the food is ready” the lady broke the moment we had, part of me didn’t want her to break it, a huge part of me.

“after you” he let go of my hand to carry the tray and my heart sunk. I walked to an empty table.

We sat down started eating and he was already on his second burger when I? was still half way through mine.

“and I repeat, Mashallah” he laughed hard.

“You girls don’t know how to really eat”

“Heyy!”

“Asfeen asfeen la intw ilbanat t3rfoon a7na ily man3arf” he chuckled then stuffed a few pieces of fries in his mouth.

“You barely touched your fries!” he got two pieced, dipped them into the ketchup and mouthed me to open my mouth. “Ift7i yala”

“3boood” I said shyly.

“Yala 6yarat baba tbi td5al” I laughed hard now I was being treated like his baby.

“Fine” I giggled and opened my mouth. He fed me the fries.

“Feeh ketchup” he pointed to his lip of the position of where it was. I slightly panicked.

“Waain?”

“Dgega” he got a tissue and wiped it for me “There you go” He smiled and again, my cheeks turned into a darker shade of red.

His phone suddenly rang, it was almost 1 Am who would call him, I felt my blood slightly boil with jealousy, yes jealousy.

“Its 3woosh dgega” B3d ‘3woosh’ edal3ha? Calm down hind! I kept repeating in my head.

“alo hala… eeh shfeekm 9ar shai? 7mood feh shai? Mimi?.... shno?!... 36eni akalma!...shno my9eer agolich abi aklm 7mood!....Fine! shlounha mimi?.... eeh zain take care of her for me ok…. Ok yala bye take care” and he closed the line I was just looking at him trying to find answers.

“Sh9ar? M7ammed gam?”

“eeh il7imdallah, he’s stable now bs mygdar ytkalam w galat inroo7lhm bkra a7san”

“Il7imdallah!” I exhaled out of relief.

After I finally finished eating, of course 3bood finished ages ago. We walked back home. When we got home, fahad was fast asleep on the couch, he probably had a long day and he knew nothing about what happened to m7ammed, poor fhood. I ran to my room and got extra blankets for him. I covered him up and gave him a peck on his cheeks. It was an only brother thing, we always took care of each other.

3bood just looked at me doing all that with his arms crossed and a smile drawn to his lips.

“You know, that was one of the cutest things I’ve seen in a while and I don’t find many things cute”

“Thank you? i guess” I fluttered my eye lashes at him.

“Don’t do that please” he said with a little seductively tone to it.

“Do what?”

“Your eyes, just don’t”

3bdullah’s point of view:

when she simply flutters her eye lashes my heart does to and it makes me want to kiss her, right there, right at that very moment.

“Yala you’ve got to rest we’ve been up early today and it’s getting late” she nodded. I put my hands on her shoulders from the back and gently pushed her to her room. She kept giggling which was irresistibly adorable.

“Goodnight 3bood” she smiled before walking into her room.

“Goodnight 7yati” i whispered back so ever softly so she wouldn’t hear me. How I wished that one day I will be able to say these words to her and take her into my arms, to make her mine.
