It has been two entire weeks ever since 7mood was at the hospital, yes, it has escalated quick between us. We’ve come to nickname terms where id call him 7mood and I was either ‘meem’ or ‘meme’. As for Hind, she has been my life saver ever since. She kept 3bood away for the time being and I still haven’t had the ‘talk’ with her!

My mind started wondering off again until Hind snapped her fingers right in front of my face. “Earth to Mimi!” she kept snapping her fingers.

“Hmmm” I was still slightly dozed off by the imagine of m7ammed’s or shall I say, 7moods hazel eyes.

“Ay wa7d a7la?” she picked up two heels, her classic black Louboutins and her nude Valentino heels.

“First it depends on where you’re going”

“Maryam” she smiled, no not the regular genuine smile you’d normally receive but that scary one that would most probably make you crap your pants.

“HIND what did I tell you about that glare and smile” I pulled the blankets by my side to cover my face.

“And what did I tell YOU about tonight” she growled.

“Wait there’s a tonight?” I replied sheepishly, i covered my face.

“OH MY GOD MARYAM ALFLANI HOW DARE YOU FORGET ABOUT OUR PLANS TONIGHT!!” now her eyes were on fire, I was almost sure it was her time of the month.

“Yes, no, what? Oh wait I remember!! Fara7 and lulu! Yes yes I’m sorry I remember” I blabbered finally remembering! How could I forget!

My Iphone made a ‘ding’ indicating a message received. The contact name was written on the screen and just reading the name has made my heart flutter and my lips curl up into a smile. It was the one and only ‘m7ammed’.

“THERE YOU GO AGAIN!” hind roared and she grabbed my phone. “5l nchoof main hay ily m6ayrich mnn ilfar7a!” and she started running around the room trying to read the message from the outside (You know? When your phone is locked bs ebayn mnn bara3 just a tiny part of the message depending on how long it is? Eeh hay).

“HINNNDD GIVE ME MY PHONE!” I started chasing her around the room. “I’M GOING TO KILL YOU” I kept jumping around from chair to table to bed.

“Heyy mimiiiii how about we go out to dinner tomorrow wink wink” she kept giggling and repeating the message and I did not give up and I kept chasing her all around the room.

“I’ve got something’s I really want to tell you” she kept going on and I finally held her foot while she was jumping several times on the bed and pulled her. She fell and I sat on her. We kept laughing like crazy until 3boud came in and we all fell silent.

“Shfeekm” he stared at us like we were some kind of lunatics. We’ll she was laying on her back and I was sitting on her stomach? The kind of view you would wish to never let anyone you see and by anyone I mean your brother.

“Nothing” we both said innocently until it hit us and we started laughing like the crazy people we are. 3bood started laughing.

“I don’t even think I want to know about any of this” he laughed as he walked out, closing the door behind him. Hind was just staring at the door, daydreaming.

“My phone” I demanded.

“Never” hind replied dramatically like we were in some kind of never ending drama movie where someone was about to die and that person was hind.

“Ya bint!” I glared at her.

“Ok ok fine but you’re telling me all about tomorrow night” she handed me back my phone.

“That’s if I go and you have some explaining to do yourself” I fiddled with my phone checking other messages before opening his.

“You are going and that’s nothing, we’ll talk about it later now don’t change the subject” she pushed me off of her stomach and gave me a serious look.

“Two seconds ago you were complaining about him” I giggled not just about what she said but at her hair that was once straitened to perfection now a wild zoo.

“Inty chfty rou7ich? You’re so in love with him even the blind would know!”

“What shda5al? You make no sense we’re just friends!” I denied.

“Mimi 7bebti listen, you don’t see how your eyes sparkle when you just think of him or text him, you’ve been day-dreaming like crazy for the past two months! You haven’t been like this not even with..” she stopped talking and looked down to her lap like she said something wrong.

“Hanoda you can say his name”

“3bdulrahman..” I no longer flinch at the mention of his name. “You’re over him meem! Something you thought you were never able to achieve! You just did because you love m7ammed not him!!”

It made sense now, everything clicked. I no longer felt hate or despise for 3bdulra7man, it’s because I was betrayed but I don’t hate him anymore. In order to hate him I would have to care about him. I don’t anymore. I no longer hate him because I no longer care about him! The thought kept repeating through my head in all different ways. I was over him.

“You’re right” I smiled.

“That you love m7ammed” she grinned.

“Hind! Chub! That im over 3bdulra7man!”

“And how are you over him?”

“Because of him” I whispered back.

“I KNEW IT!” hind jumped out of bed and started happy dancing, this girl is crazy.

“Can we get ready now?” I walked to the closet avoiding the way she reacted. “And it’s the Valentino heels” I yelled back as I stared back at my phone and replied to m7ammed with the following

"Sure! Just text me the time and place x"

Two hours later..

“MEMEEE” I heard two voices squeal from afar. I missed them, my freaks.

Just as I was about to group hug the I get a smack on both arms, fara7 on my left and lulu on my right. “OUCH! Fine I deserved that” I shrugged and took them in for a group hug, Hind was too busy with her phone, as usual.

“We haven’t seen you in like almost a month! Yal ‘6alma!!” fara7 exclaimed.

“Nsaiteena ha”

“Eeeh if it wasn’t for the text messages I would have probably murdered you”

“Laa2 you guys love me too much” I grinned in their faces.

“Not an excuse”

“W inty!” Lulu was now lecturing Hind.

“Anaa?” hind replied dumbfounded.

“Laa2 3yal yadity! Eeh inty” Fara7 sliced her into two with her words.

“Shswaaiiiit” hind panicked.

“Shno masawaity” I joined in, harassing hind.

“Hey inty a5r wa7da ttkalam! You’re in this with me! Wla agoulhm 3an…” I cut her off immediately.

“Laa2 there’s nothing to say” I backfired, giving her my 'i will punch you' glare.

“Is there something we need to know?”

“Ha ya Maryam t5sheen 3na” they started taking slow steps towards me as i took steps backwards.

“Maybe” I covered my face and suddenly I was attacked with tickles.

“laa laaa * laughs * Bss don’t please * laughs * not in public yal * laughs * fine fine I’ll tell you when we sit down at the restaurant” they finally let go.

“That’s what you get when you don’t tell them” she pushed my arm lightly.

“Inty chub I didn’t even tell you anything”

“She simply figured it out”

“It’s m7ammed isn’t it” Lulu blurted out.

“BSMALLAH! How did you even know” I held my breathe for a second.

“You just told me” three of them laughed.

“Laa 5la9 asfeen” “Sorry sorry” they held their laugh.

“Tra my’6a7k ok” I puffed and crossed my arms.

“a9lan m7ad gal e’6a7k” Hind tried to fix the straightest face she could but surely she failed.

“Faro7 sha6ra” I grinned, side hugging her.

“W a7na” lulu and hind crossed their arms.

“Intw chub” both fara7 and I giggled. “yalla i5tarw m63am” I exclaimed when I felt my insides twist with hunger.

As we were walking i checked my phone and my heart skipping a beat when i saw a message from him. "Cant wait to see your beautiful face tomorrow! Meet me at "....." and i'll pick you up at 8:00" and so my lips immediately curved into a smile that reached from ear to ear.
